About Kingdom of Deception

Centuries of racial strife culminate in the rise of the fearsome Kingdom of Lundar—a human dominion built on ambition and the subjugation of once-sovereign races. But when their greatest external threat, a colossal monster horde, is vanquished, the kingdom’s victory sows the seeds of its own collapse. Noble houses and warlords, now unchecked, turn their swords inward, tearing at the fabric of power with ruthless precision. In this dark saga, even the sacred bonds of faith and blood crumble beneath the weight of greed and vengeance.

The World That Born a Tyranny: Lundar’s Ruthless Ascent

Long before the current chaos, Lundar’s dominance was hard-won. For generations, human factions clashed with neighboring races—elven forests, dwarven mountain holds, and beastfolk realms—each vying for control of fertile lands and ancient magic. Through sheer tenacity and strategic alliances, humans forged the Kingdom of Lundar, a superpower that crushed resistance under its iron boot. Yet this “glorious” expansion came at a cost: entire cultures were erased, their leaders either imprisoned or executed, their histories rewritten to glorify human superiority.

The Monster Horde: The Last Obstacle to Total Domination

Lundar’s final challenge arrived in the form of a nightmarish horde—twisted creatures of shadow and tooth, spawned from the kingdom’s own neglected frontiers. For decades, these beasts raided villages, but Lundar’s armies, emboldened by their past wins, dismissed them as a nuisance. When the horde finally reached the gates, however, it threatened to unravel everything. A fragile truce between rival noble houses dissolved as they united (if only briefly) to fend off annihilation. Victory was pyrrhic: the horde’s defeat left Lundar without an enemy, exposing the fragility of its internal alliances.

Power Unchained: The War of Scoundrels and Saints

With no external threats, Lundar’s elite turned their focus inward. Noble families, once bound by marriage and shared history, now plotted assassinations and blackmail. Military factions, led by ambitious generals, seized key forts and demanded loyalty oaths—or else. Even the church, once a moral compass, fractured: high priests argued over who deserved divine favor, while lower clergy were coerced into blessing bloodshed. In this vacuum, commoners suffered most: taxes soared, food shortages spread, and justice became a currency traded between the powerful.

Why Kingdom of Deception Stands Apart: A Story That Demands Your Choice

What makes this tale unforgettable is its refusal to romanticize heroism. There are no “chosen ones” here—only flawed, desperate individuals clinging to power. Will you align with a noble house seeking to restore “order,” or back a rebel faction fighting for the oppressed? Your decisions shape the kingdom’s fate: will Lundar rebuild as a more ruthless empire, or collapse into anarchy, leaving room for new powers to rise? With immersive storytelling, dynamic character arcs, and branching narratives, Kingdom of Deception isn’t just a game—it’s a window into the corrupting nature of power itself.
