NAVER WEBTOON

NAVER WEBTOON is an online comic platform operated by NAVER WEBTOON, a subsidiary of South Korean IT company NAVER. Since its official launch on June 23, 2004, it has rapidly developed into the largest online comic platform in South Korea. The development process of NAVER WEBTOON has witnessed the transition of online comics from peripheral culture to mainstream. Around 2006, with the serialization of works such as "The Voice of the Soul," online comics gradually became a part of mainstream culture. In addition, NAVER WEBTOON is actively expanding its business scope, not only limited to the domestic Korean market, but also launching a series of cooperative projects for the international market.
