DITO Telecommunity

DITO Telecommunity Corporation is a telecommunications company located in the Philippines. As the country's third-largest telecommunications operator, it has broken the long-standing duopoly dominated by PLDT and Globe. The history of this company can be traced back to the establishment of Mindanao Islamic Telephone Company (Mislatel), which eventually evolved into a joint venture between Udenna Corporation (holding 35% of the shares), its subsidiary Chelsea Logistics (holding 25% of the shares), and China Telecom Group Corporation (holding 40% of the shares). In July 2019, DITO obtained a telecommunications operating license and officially began commercial operations on May 17, 2021, marking its presence in over 100 major cities in the Philippines.
