Capcom Co., Ltd. is a Japanese video game company founded on May 30, 1979, by Kenzo Tsujimoto. The initial company name was I R. M Company established a subsidiary, Japan Capsule Computer Co., in 1981, Ltd.， Later in September of the same year, it was renamed Sanbi Co, Ltd.， Until June 1983, the well-known old Capcom company (CAPCOM CO., LTD.) was officially established. The company's name comes from the combination of "Capsule" and "Computer", indicating that its early goal was to create a new type of gaming experience that could compete with personal computers.
