About Broke in Isekai

After stumbling through a glitch-ridden portal, you awaken in Nexarion, a neon-drenched metropolis where magic and machinery collide. Far from the hero’s welcome you expected, you’re branded a Null, a dimension-hopper with no inherent magic, forced to claw your way up from the gutters of the Blacklight District. Here, the corrupt Ocular Council rules through synthetic sorcery, and survival demands alliances with mercenary guilds, rebel factions, and the city’s enigmatic Veiled Courtesans. But a cryptic tattoo on your wrist—a relic from your world—hints at latent powers that could disrupt Nexarion’s balance. Will you exploit this edge to ascend as a kingpin, or burn it all to find your way home?

Gameplay

1. Karma Debt System – Every job impacts your Street Cred (criminal networks) and Lightbearer Rep (lawful factions). Rob a bank, and gangs offer heists; help the guards, and shops grant discounts. Overcommit to one, and the other sabotages you.

2. Synthetic Sorcery – Harvest Glitch Cores from broken tech to craft temporary magic: forge ID chips to infiltrate high-society parties or summon hologram decoys during escapes. Misuse corrupts your tattoo, triggering unpredictable mutations.

3. Courtisan Contracts – Romance or manipulate factions’ key figures: a cyborg assassin demands you spare her rivals; a druid scholar needs rare artifacts. Fulfill their desires to unlock faction-specific perks or betray them for quick gains.

Key Features

1. Dynamic Black Market – Prices and jobs shift based on your actions: overfarm dungeon loot, and the market crashes; assassinate a tycoon, and his rivals fund your rivals.

2. Veiled Courtesan Alliances – Each courtesan belongs to a secret guild (Spy, Alchemist, Revolutionary). Bonding unlocks their guild’s HQ, where you can trade favors, sabotage foes, or spark city-wide riots.

3. Null’s Gambit – Exploit your "magic immunity" to bypass wards and hack enchanted tech—a double-edged sword, as the Ocular Council hunts Nulls for experiments.

Pro Tips

1. Glitch Farming – Deliberately fail tech-based mini-games to generate Glitch Cores from errors. Perfect successes yield coins, but cores are rarer.

2. The 3-Day Rule – Switch factions every three in-game days to avoid loyalty penalties and exploit rotating discounts.

3. Courtisan Whisper – Gift a courtesan counterfeit jewelry; if she detects it, she’ll respect your cunning. If not, she becomes a pawn in your schemes.
