About White Eight

Freedom comes shackled to shadows in White Eight. After two years locked away for a crime you didn’t commit, parole drops you into a halfway house with three ex-cons—each harboring secrets sharper than shivs. Your roommate? A hacker erased from public records, a firestarter with cult ties, and a smuggler who claims he’s “retired.” As probation officers stalk your every move, trust becomes currency: bond to rebuild your life, or exploit their sins to clear your name. But in this claustrophobic crucible, every confession risks collapse—yours or theirs.

Gameplay

1. Fractured Trust System: Balance alliances using a “Loyalty Ledger.” Share contraband to boost rapport, but hoard resources for solo escapes—betrayal penalties cascade across mini-games like job interviews or parole hearings.

2. Room Raid Puzzles: Secretly comb through housemates’ belongings during timed stealth segments. Plant evidence to frame rivals or uncover blackmail material, but leave traces that erode group stability.

3. Probation Paradox: Juggle mandatory therapy sessions, community service, and side hustles. Fail too many drug tests, and your ankle monitor tightens; ace them, and gain “Redemption Credits” to unlock hidden backstories.

Key Features

1. Sin Echoes: Flashbacks triggered by environmental cues (e.g., a song, a scent) let you replay pivotal trial moments—alter choices to reshape present-day relationships.

2. Code Red Collective: Forge a housemate alliance to execute heists (e.g., stealing your case files), but botched plans invite gang retaliation or extended probation.

3. Masked Morality: Your “Rehabilitation Score” visibly climbs with good deeds, but secret “Shadow Metrics” track illicit gains—endings pivot on which score dominates.

Pro Tips

1. Leverage Loopholes: Snitch anonymously via burner phones to pit authorities against rivals without blowing your cover.

2. Decode Silence: Housemates’ unspoken tells (nervous tics, avoided topics) hint at hidden skills—a pyromaniac’s burn scars might signal arson expertise for hire.

3. Burn Bridges Late: Betray allies only after milking their perks; early backstabbing locks you out of critical late-game support during police interrogations.
