About Where It All Began

Returning to your rural hometown after years away, a cryptic voicemail from your estranged twin sister drags you into a web of unsettling secrets. The once-familiar streets now whisper of disappearances, a shadowy research facility operating in the woods, and a childhood home that feels unnervingly alien. As you dig deeper, fragmented memories resurface—visions of a hidden basement, a mysterious illness your sister claimed to have "cured," and a town that’s been quietly erasing its own history. The bond you once shared with your twin becomes a weapon as you realize she might be the architect of the chaos… or its next victim.

Gameplay:

1. Dual-Timeline Exploration: Uncover clues across two eras—reconstruct past events through flashbacks while navigating the eerie present-day town, where every choice alters relationships and story outcomes.

2. Distortion Puzzles: Manipulate reality-bending glitches in the environment to access hidden areas, often requiring you to "break" objects or rearrange memories to progress.

3. Trust Mechanics: Balance alliances with paranoid townsfolk and your increasingly unreliable sister, where dialogue choices dynamically impact who aids or betrays you.

Key Features:

1. Morphing Environments: Locations physically change based on uncovered secrets—a derelict playground might transform into a cult gathering site as you peel back layers of deception.

2. Asymmetric Multiplayer Elements: Optional real-time events where another player’s decisions in their save file subtly influence your world’s unfolding dangers.

3. Biofeedback Horror: Uses optional microphone/camera inputs to escalate tension—characters react to real-world noises, and static-filled cutscenes "corrupt" if you look away from the screen.

Tips:

1. Document recurring symbols in your in-game journal; seemingly random graffiti or newspaper ads form codes for late-game lockboxes.

2. Let conversations "time out" occasionally—silence during key dialogues reveals unspoken character motivations.

3. Revisit locations after midnight (in-game clock) to trigger spectral events that expose buried truths about the twins’ childhood.
